Reporting to the General Counsel, this is an interesting role which will require a “hands-on” and flexible approach. Key Responsibilities. Review, amend and draft various types of commercial agreements including IT agreements, cloud agreements, master service agreements, professional service agreements, service level agreements, supplier agreements and various terms and conditions. Review and check NDAs. Assist the General Counsel in providing advice to the company on commercial contracts and other ad-hoc advice. Assist where required putting in place systems, processes, policies and procedures and subsequently maintain the same. Manage and escalate any legal risk or employment law issues to General Counsel. Various administrative duties in accordance with the role (including document and contract management. Assist with the acquisition of new companies and harmonise contracts. Skills and Experience. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Legal Executive or Solicitor with solid commercial contracts experience (approx. 2- 3 years PQE), gained in-house or within private practice (stated PQE is for guidance purposes. Employment law experience and procurement experience is highly desirable. Corporate and M&A experience will be useful. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work cross functionally and interact confidently with multiple stakeholders. Excellent planning and organisational skills. The ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and work to tight deadlines. Accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ability to work calmly under pressure. Highly proficient in MS packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Team player – understands the importance of teamwork. LLB and LPC qualified (or equivalent). Location: Our Headquarters at Wisborough Green (Guildford 30 minutes, Horsham 20 minutes).
