    Job Description: Multi-disciplined Inspector/Coordinator. Experience. The candidate, as well as holding the relevant qualification must be experienced heavy structural steel fabrication, erection, welding and painting. Role And Responsibilities. Vendor fabrication packages. To monitor and witness the fabrication, welding and painting of structural steel at various fabricators as per the approved ITP. This will include but not be limited to. Material traceability. Dimensional cross checking, ensure tight tolerance and dimensions are as per the AFC fabrication drawing. Fit-ups and alignment check, as per approved WPS. Preform cross checking of welder traceability. Spot check heat in-puts, pre-heats etc are as per the approved WPS. Consumable control. Ensure the correct percentage of NDE has been performed. Preform final inspection before being released for paint. Preform in process monitoring of the preparation and application of the specified painting system. Witness FAT (Where applicable. Assist in the review of pre-vendor approval quality documentation. Produce detailed weekly quality reports, including photo's. Final review and approval of MBR's. Site Steel Erection. Monitor and witness the erection of structural steel work, bolting, field welds and field join painting activities (where and if applicable) as per the approved ITP. Ensure elevation, orientation and dimensions are as per site erection drawings and sit layout plan. Utilization of the correct bolt, nuts washer etc. Witness and SAT's. Qualifications. Welding - CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2, MPI and UT NDE qualifications would be beneficial. Paint – Level 2 in Icorr, Bgas or NACE. Have Knowledge of EN1090 and NACE or NORSOK M-501.
