In response to business growth, we are looking to appoint a PMO Lead Analyst to support Account owners and clients to effectively manage project finance. Who will you be working for. Reporting to the PMO Team Leader, the role of PMO Lead Analyst will apply their skills and experience in PMO to guide Account owners and clients through the process of managing project finance internally and within our clients. By applying high standards of service, you will deliver a range of high profile PMO products and services. Specifically, you will work on behalf of the Heads of Delivery and Service/ Account Managers to define work package (project) deliverables, calculate timescales, calculate or validate the commercials and thereby produce work package/ statement of work documentation for submission to clients. As PMO Lead Analyst, you will also provide support to PMO team members, mentoring and developing their skills to meet their own and business objectives. What will you be doing. The PMO Lead Analyst will own and drive a number of project finance activities throughout the full lifecycle of projects:. Ownership of end to end financial processes across all client contracts; including producing financial forecasts on a period by period basis, reconciliation of actuals and analysis and resolution of variances. Conducting a range of assurance activities in liaison with the finance business partner to ensure accurate financial reporting on an ad hoc, period-end and financial year-end basis. Design and produce a range of key PMO management information and reports. Operation of end to end processes for effective organisational governance and management control, flexing processes to deliver to client contracts while maintaining compliance with internal Reed systems. Liaise with clients toobtain the approval of work packages/ statements of work, obtain cost codes or purchase orders, and after delivery, to obtain sign off. Managing and Auditing key functionality with PPM and PSA tool. Conducting the Evaluation of Service process, meeting clients as required. Quality Assurance of PMO owned information on ReedPS collaborative tools. Acting as a subject matter expert for all PMO queries, adopting a solution focused approach and escalating to the Operations Manager as appropriate. Other support and administrative tasks as required which include support to the Operations Manager to provide a professional, timely service in line with client expectations. Who will be successful. Not everyone can be a PMO Lead Analyst. To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to. Experience. Proven PMO/ Project Analyst or Coordinator experience, knowledge of project management and project accounting. Previous extensive experience of working in a PMO environment is essential possibly/ ideally within a consultancy/ third-party capacity. Experienced user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and Project. Project management certification e.g. PRINCE 2, or Agile development e.g. Scrum/ Kanban is desirable but not essential. Skills. Have a high level of stakeholder management capability and be able to work through solutions with both internal and external clients. Demonstrate good problem-solving skills, when reviewing and compiling financial reports, offering feedback and advising of risks found.
