Gold Medal Travel is an award winning tour-operator with over 40 years’ experience in tailor-making holidays to worldwide destinations.

We are now recruiting for Customer Service Advisors to service after-sales calls from our customers and provide the excellent service that our customers expect.

Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7

Job Accountabilities

Provide excellent customer service at all times
Answer calls in professional manner within agreed timescales and KPIS
Process customer requests/queries efficiently and accurately. These may include
Taking balance payments
Travel agent’s commission & VAT queries
Prebooking seats, special meal requests
Processing booking amendments and cancellations
Take an active part in training sessions, team meetings, briefings and 1-to-1s

Experience and Professional Competence

Skills required:

- GCSE/educated – Maths & English language grade 9-4/’C’ or above – or equivalent
- Customer Service experience – ideally in a contact centre environment
- A keen interest in the travel industry, ideally with a passion for travel
- Accurate
- IT literate
- Numerate
- Travel industry experience – desirable
