Travelport is a travel commerce platform providing distribution, technology, payment and other solutions for the global travel and tourism industry.

The company’s headquarters are in Langley, Berkshire and it has a presence in over 170 countries, with approximately 3,400 employees.  The company’s origins can be traced back to 1971, but was formed in August 2006, when Cendant sold Orbitz and Galileo to The Blackstone Group in a deal worth $4.3bn. In December 2006, they struck a deal to buy one of its rivals, Worldspan, for $1.4bn.
