Our collections team is over 15 people strong, but you will come on board and be directly leading a team of 3 to ensure collections are made from our Travel Agency customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team are contacting customers via email and phone to ensure their accounts are up to date, issuing dunning letters and working with customers, Billing Analysts and Commercial teams to resolve queries preventing settlement and that payment received into each of the bank accounts are applied to our AR system daily and assigned to the accurate customer account/invoices. This dynamic role will involve. Supervising 3 members of staff (1 based in the US). Holding 1-1's and conducting performance appraisals. Ensuring the timely collection of balances due to Agency customers. Reviewing current processes and suggesting possible improvements and/or changes. Liaising with sales teams to lead and coordinated collection efforts, to bring past due accounts up to current time. Managing our netting process. Sending payment reminder letters. Keeping the Receivable Manager well informed of seriously past-due customers. Preparation of Month-end reports for review and approval. Month-end Journal Entries. Balance Sheet Reconciliations. Working with Senior Management on special projects relating to the efficiency and effectiveness of Collections. Voice of Customer, in the design, delivery and maintenance of surveys and likewise for the underlying data sources utilized for survey invitations. You'll be rafting dashboards for key business areas providing the insight to drive ongoing product/service or interaction improvement. You'll build a strong network of internal partners and partner with them to improve the impact of the voice of our customers in their relevant business area (including Customer Support, Product, Marketing, Commercial). The new CX team brings together Voice of Customer, Market Intelligence and Customer Experience Programs with the goal to lead Travelport to become a customer centric business, generating greater value by offering propositions and experiences that our clients, and their clients (the traveler) find essential in successful travel experiences. Experience in a market research role, either agency side or client side. Experience of using online survey tools (preferably Qualtrics) including crafting, programming and distributing surveys. An understanding of methodologies required to deliver consistently robust insight. Ability to learn how to conduct customer interviews. Experience of the travel industry is desirable, but not essential. Experience of managing feedback to support a journey-based approach to customer experience design is helpful. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience of data manipulation, pivot tables. Context/Environment. The environment is one of a complex and changing commercial and corporate nature in terms of both the industry and the Travelport organisation.
