We are looking to recruit a trainee to join our professional, friendly, busy and supportive Design team where we will provide you with the opportunity to develop full knowledge of the Design process. In this role you will be working within our design team, supported by our design cooridantors and design manager, to cover a range of administrative functions and design coordination activites in a training capacity. You will assist the design cooridnators with all aspects of design from pre-construction through to the construction phase. You will learn how to support projects to successfully deliver the technical coordination and design management of both residential and care projects on design and build contracts. You will also be in charge, once trained, of managing document control for the team and cooordinating quality assurance as well support the team with any administration requirements. We will give you general and specific skills too to enable you to confidently build your career in your chosen field. This will include IT skills, communication, confidence and the ability to multi task and manage your own work load. You will be required to visit our sites on occasion and attend meetings away from the Romsey office too. This is an exclusively office-based role.
