An exciting opportunity has arisen in our HR team in either Bristol or London for a Learning & Development (L&D) Advisor to join the firm. This role will assist the Head of Talent Development in implementing the firm`s international L&D strategy through a variety of learning interventions, building relationships (both internal and external) and working closely with all members of the L&D and wider HR team. We are considering candidates at all levels for this role and this could suit candidates looking for that step up to advisor looking to go into law or who already works in a legal environment, we ideally would like for someone to have experience in training and coaching. This internal specialist role has an international remit and would suit someone looking to leverage their ability to build strong relationships in order to deliver commercially focused development initiatives. The role will involve a range of duties including responding to individual development queries, negotiating fees with external providers and identifying suitable coaching providers through to leading on firm wide programmes and supporting international roll outs. The L&D Advisor will be responsible for. Developing strong internal relationships with our practice groups and Business Services functions. Initiating development conversations and identifying training and development needs throughout the business. Designing and delivering commercially focused learning programmes. Project managing the delivery of the firm`s annual development programmes. Reviewing and evaluating effectiveness of all programmes and learning initiatives. Supporting the development and delivery of firm-wide projects and initiatives e.g. sector awareness, client programmes and the trainee Compass programme. Taking budgetary responsibility for training / programmes as allocated by the Head of Talent Development and L&D Manager. Delegating to the L&D Assistant. Producing management information to support the L&D operation. Working closely and managing relationships with external suppliers. Developing own external network to support the sharing and introduction of new ideas. Person Specification. We are looking for a proven and experienced L&D professional with. Relevant experience of working within a L&D team, ideally in a professional services firm. Strong academic record. An ability to identify learning needs and apply the appropriate learning intervention. A creative approach to designing and implementing learning solutions, including virtual or non-classroom based learning where appropriate. An international & commercially focused mind-set. Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance conflicting priorities and delegate effectively in order to achieve results. A strong `client-service` attitude; experience of working with key internal and external stakeholders. IT literacy with experience of Word, PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheets. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Responsibility (CR) & Diversity Advisor to join the London Human Resources department. Reporting to the CR & Diversity Manager, the Advisor will support the delivery of the firm`s international CR strategy. The Advisor will be responsible for delivering internal and external CR & Diversity initiatives and producing external award submissions, benchmarking and reporting. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in CR & Diversity and experience in working within the field. The role will suit candidates who enjoy organising events, driving initiatives forward and raising awareness of key issues. Main Duties and Responsibilities. Supports the CR & Diversity Manager in developing and delivering the firm`s international CR strategy by contributing expert advice and co-ordinating CR & Diversity programmes and projects aligned to the firm`s priorities. Responsible for producing CR & Diversity award submissions, external benchmarking and reporting. Responsible for managing the firm`s annual CR review and CR awards event. Leads CR supplier engagement and partnering initiatives including annual CR supplier audit and CR supplier roundtable event. Manages the Charitable Foundation application process and liaises with internal and external stakeholders and charitable organisations. Plan and deliver internal and external CR & Diversity events. Supports CR & Diversity Manager to develop and deliver training materials to build knowledge, awareness and understanding of diversity issues. Manages the annual diversity monitoring process and provides analysis of the firm`s demographics. Produces CR responses for pitches, including statistical data. Liaises with the firm`s employee network groups on planning, resourcing and implementing initiatives. Coordinates internal CR communication plan including CR blogs, CR notices, updating intranet and website content. Builds and maintains relationships with key CR & Diversity contacts, community partners, external organisations and formal bodies to understand emerging CR & Diversity issues. Uses this information to advise on changes to the firm`s international CR strategy. Supports the delivery of the firm`s core social inclusion programme: The Young Talent Programme, working with Frederick Bremer School. Working with the CR & Diversity Manager, Resourcing Manager, Graduate Recruitment & Development Manager, HR Director and other key stakeholders to establish the firm`s employer brand, ensuring that this is communicated effectively both internally and externally and is aligned to key CR & Diversity priorities. Supervision of HR Team Administrator. Person Specification. Education / Qualifications/ Experience. Graduate with at least 2:1 degree or equivalent preferable. At least 3 years` relevant CR & Diversity experience, preferably in a professional services or corporate environment. Knowledge and technical skills. Good knowledge and awareness of best practice relating to CR & Diversity and social inclusion. Good knowledge of employment law and policy. Excellent written communication skills. Excellent IT skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word and willingness to use software packages that are unfamiliar.
