As a Travel Agency Coordinator; you will assist the development of our new brand to ensure Classic Package Holidays is a successful and profitable business. You will ensure all incoming contacts/enquires from travel agencies are handled in an efficient and timely manner whilst meeting or exceeding all agreed departmental targets for customer service and sales. We need energetic people from all backgrounds who can provide top class customer service, who can learn quickly and are interested in developing their career in the holiday business. We want you to have fun and show positivity while demonstrating flexibility to the needs to our clients and the business. We trust you to take ownership of the travel agencies and ensure they receive the very best attention possible. The hours are full time (37.5 hours per week) working shifts typically between the hours of 8am - 8pm Monday - Saturday and 9am - 8pm Sunday. The position has a starting salary up to £19,000 depending on experience + commission. This role is based in Cheadle near Stockport. What will the role entail. Taking enquires from a range of Travel Agents from across the UK and converting them into bookings. Achieving and exceeding company, team and individual objectives relating to sales targets, productivity, product knowledge and attendance/punctuality. Build and maintain a strong business relationship with Classic Collection Holidays and On The Beach employees. Building and maintaining great relationships with travel agents and industry partners. Effectively and efficiently handle any administrational and operational queries.Maintain accurate information on the company's products, commercial campaigns and ancillary services. To exceed the travel agents' expectations and go the extra mile wherever possible. Ensure bookings that are made are fully realised and booked whilst taking commercial responsibility for the profitability of the booking. Communicating and escalating operational issues and process improvements to the management team. Managing post travel feedback and customer service by dealing with any complaints in a calm and diplomatic manner. Essential Experience & Skills. Previous experience of working with travel agents and/or tour operators is highly preferred. Commercial awareness within the travel industry. Self-driven and results oriented with a positive outlook. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong computer and administration skills. Excellent attention to detail. Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. This is the place. As part of our rapid expansion into Europe, On the Beach is recruiting for a Swedish Speaking Customer Advisor with Scandinavian language skills. The position has a starting salary of £17,000 rising to £19,000 for exceptional performers and is based in our new office in central Manchester, a short distance from Piccadilly station. The candidate must be fluent in Swedish, and have good English both written and spoken since we are also dealing with UK overflow when needed. The candidate should ideally have previous sales and customer service experience. On the International department, we deal with all aspects of the business but in a smaller scale. The goal is to provide the same services the UK customers get from OTB, but in Swedish and/or Norwegian. Our agents handle both Swedish and Norwegian queries from customers that want to book a holiday, want to confirm a pending order or have a general query about their booking either over the phone or on email/messages. We also deal with issues customers have while in resort and also potential operational issues such as hotel and flight changes. We also deal with complaints that customers might have after they have returned from their holiday. Swedish Speaking Customer Advisor role will entail. Working towards daily/monthly booking and conversion targets whilst continuing to offer a 1st class customer service to customers. Keeping product and brand knowledge up to date while having an in depth knowledge relating to our portfolio of destinations and supplier products. Shows determination by ensuring performance and conduct is in line with performance measures and targets while having the ability to work under pressure. Handling customer enquiries, bookings and payments in a professional manner. Offering excellent sales and customer service by dealing with any complaints in a calm and diplomatic way. Maximising profit opportunities when finalising bookings or making amendments. Takes responsibility for own personal development by seeking feedback from others and acting upon it. Enjoys talking to customers while working in a fun vibrant environment. Presents a number of solutions in order to balance the customer and the business's needs. The international department is a product of OTB's vision to be the largest online holiday retailer in Europe. Working on the International department is a diverse role, demanding a high grade of multitasking skills and an ability to prioritize tasks in a productive way. Essential skills. Fluent in a Scandinavian language (preferably Swedish ) at a native level. Sales/call centre/customer service experience. Attention to detail with a friendly, positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills. Hardworking, punctual and adaptable. Strives to achieve targets using own initiative or as part of a team. Strong numerical skills (Grade A-C at GCSE or equivalent Scandinavian qualifications. Calm and influencing decision maker. Desirable skills. Working knowledge of travel systems (view data, SABS, supplier websites. Basic knowledge of the Scandinavian travel industry. Well-travelled, with sales, travel or call centre background.
