Established over 30 years ago, Northumbria Travel is one of the top independent companies in the country for cruise holidays. Fully ABTA bonded and members of CLIA, the Cruise Lines International Association we are also a founder member of Advantage, the largest independent travel agency group in then UK.

Northumbria Travel specialises in cruise holidays, including escorted cruises and has exclusive deals with many of the leading cruise lines. Our successful partnership with many of the top River and Ocean cruise companies enables Northumbria Travel to share both our expertise and special offers with all of our clients.

Accredited by members of both the U3A, the University of the Third Age and also Rotary, Northumbria Travel have been assisting members of both associations find their perfect holiday for many years. Rotarians and U3A members alike return to us every year to book either their own cruise or a group departure for their club through our team of travel experts. We also have a strong following of individual clients from all corners of the UK in addition to members of these associations.

Northumbria Travel organise several escorted cruises each year with both River and Ocean cruise lines. Single travellers and couples are all welcome to join these highly recommended trips which have a huge following by clients who have now become friends.

- To deliver a full booking experience providing a high level of customer service completing all administration and documentation in a timely manner. - Offer full travel advice where required i.e. visa requirements for new and existing clients relevant to their chosen destination. - To contribute to company sales targets by achieving and exceeding personal targets. - To build and maintain extensive knowledge of products and services available to our clients through regular on-line training, supplier events and organised company training sessions - Handle all customer service complaints quickly and effectively keeping the directors updated at all times. - Manage discounts to increase profit margins. - To convert enquiries to firm bookings at a rate in line with company policy. - Record customer specific feedback in line with the office policy. - Ensure all office enquiries are acknowledged and all new enquiries to be followed up in line with company policy
