Overview
MSC Cruises is the fourth-largest cruise line in the world and market leader in the Mediterranean, South Africa and Brazil. Part of the giant Mediterranean Shipping Company, the privately owned business is based in Geneva, Switzerland, and operates national offices in 45 countries around the world, employing more than 15,000 staff on land and at sea.
With a fleet of 12 ships, seasonal itineraries cover northern Europe, the Med, Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean, South America, southern Africa, as well as the Emirates and Oman.
Transport links
MSC Cruises is well served by public transport. A number of underground stations are close by – Holborn (3 mins walk), Chancery Lane (8 mins) and Temple (8 mins). Waterloo Station is the nearest mainline rail terminal, just across the River Thames to the south (18 mins).
What we do
Our UK office currently employs approximately 60 people. The operation is chiefly concerned with handling the sales, marketing and administration of the company’s cruises to UK holidaymakers.
Staff are employed in a number of departments – finance and HR, commercial, sales, marketing/web and customer service. The call centre is also based here, although some staff in this department are employed as homeworkers.
