    Job Description: I'm currently working with a local authority based in North Nofolk who are seeking an individual to help support the work of their busy planning team. Due to an increased workload, an experienced Planning Officer is required to contribute to a broad range of local projects within the areas of development management, major projects and planning policy. About the Role. The successful candidate will join a busy and growing planning team and will provide high quality professional planning advice on a range of matters. You will process planning applications, making recommendations and ensuring that advice given is in line with the Councils policies and good planning practice. You will also be expected to liaise with prospective consultants, members of the public and applicants prior to the submission of planning applications and other planning matters. You will attend public enquiries, consultations and hearings as well as committee site visits. Experience Required. Degree and professional qualification in Town Planning. Full RTPI membership.
