    Job Description: Travelbag is delighted to be recruiting again for self-motivated, ambitious people to join our successful sales development programme commencing on 11th September 2017, based in Cheltenham.

    Owned by dnata Travel, part of the Emirates Group Travelbag have been tailor-making dream holidays for customers for over 35 years and have 7 retail stores and 2 call centres in the UK

    We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and determined people with a genuine passion for travel and a desire to succeed in sales. You don’t need to have first-hand experience in sales but you must have the ability to sell and the will to win. Ideally you will have studied travel and tourism (but this isn't essential), be IT literate and have some customer service experience.

    We also welcome applications from anyone with previous travel industry experience.

    So if you are passionate about travel, would love to work in sales and develop your career we’d love to hear from you. In return for your hard work we offer a basic salary + uncapped commission giving an OTE of £20k in the first year.

    Job Description: dnata Travel Europe part of the Emirates Group is recruiting for Software Developers, one to be based in Preston and one in Chester (Sandycroft).

    You will contribute to the delivery of high load, multi-threaded, distributed, enterprise software systems to support the scheduled air, car hire and hotel rental call centre, API and e-commerce sales channels.

    Key Tasks:

    - Undertake in the development of high load, multi-threaded, distributed, enterprise software systems to formal and informally provided design schematics
    - Maintain a good working knowledge of enterprise software development patterns, practices and methodologies
    - Maintain a good working knowledge of Microsoft .NET development technologies, specifically .NET 3.x and 4.x and SQL Server 2008 and 2012 and any subsequent versions
    - To work with all members of the Development Team to promote a good team working environment where open communication is invited.
    - Create web package releases and deploy to development and system test environments.
    - Respond to live issues raised throughout the business.
    - Provide clear and accurate updates to the Senior Software Developers, Development Manager and Head of Development.
    - Liaise with the testing and infrastructure teams when supporting development releases.
    - Communicate complex technical solutions in a clear and concise manner to members of the development team and IT department.
