- Extensive marketing experience preferably with a marketing qualification and related travel and tour operation experience
- Strong leadership skills proven in a changing and challenging environment
- Experience in managing external agencies and partners
- Excellent communicator able to influence and convince at all levels
- Strong analytical mind with attention to detail
- Strong character with winning approach and attitude
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined and able to work on own initiative and contribute positively to the team environment within the business
- Proven track record in leading and managing a team
- Ability to think strategically and implement short-term and longer-term departmental objectives
- Results orientated
- Experience of media planning and knowledge of the UK media market place
- Awareness of copywriting and a creative flair
- Ability to manage budgets
- Experience of print production and the processes / timescales involved to get from creative concept to printed material
- Digital marketing skills
