Whilst your primary focus is to your Team, you will also play your part in the management and development of some national key accounts throughout the UK, where your ability to operate at a strategic business level and deliver effective commercial long term relationships, can add value to the Company and position them as the major player within their market sectors. As a proven and effective Sales Manager and people development person, you may also possess exposure of selling in to food manufacturers, which may possibly have also included supplying engineering orientated product ranges or consumables and MRO (mechanical repair and overhaul) product ranges to food processing and general industrial manufacturing environments. However, more importantly, is your proven ability to develop professional sales and business development people to consistently achieve and exceed KPIs. As such, you will be an organised and commercially focused Sales Manager, with an excellent people management skill set. Your sales team operates nationally. It is envisaged, therefore, that you will operate from a home base, with regular travel throughout the UK, and with some European travel also being required from time to time.
