We are now recruiting for Senior Marketing Executive - Emirate Holidays, based in Kingston upon Thames. This pivotal role, part of the Commercial team is all about our customers and filling our planes departing from the UK & Ireland to our home Dubai and beyond. It’s about ensuring we anticipate our customer’s requirements, we understand them, and we use our knowledge to promote holidays that they will love over and over again. The senior marketing executive will expertly lead a team of 2 direct reports. Providing clear direction, setting stretching targets, leading by example and providing best in class coaching, the team will be motivated to deliver exceptional marketing and always delivering competitive tactical pricing. Job Accountabilities Responsible for the management and performance and development of the marketing team. Planning and execution of the annual marketing plan in conjunction with the e-commerce team including managing the marketing budget and working with marketing and PR agencies to deliver acquisition and ROI in line with company targets. Delivery of the tactical marketing calendar including planning, content and asset delivery, tactical pricing, execution and reporting for campaigns, EDM’s, press, brochures, direct mail and flash sales campaigns such as Travelzoo and Hotel exclusives Creating the strategy for all tactical pricing to be used in relevant marketing activity. Continual monitoring and feedback of the results of marketing campaigns, during and post campaigns, using a test and learn approach to optimize performance. Responsible for measurement and communication to management of ROI on all marketing and PR activity. Responsible for the planning, execution and management of brochure and direct mail production and distribution. Production of partner marketing campaigns, including planning, production and reporting. Briefing copywriters and writing copy, sourcing images for marketing pieces and working closely with the design team to ensure a consistent and strong brand is maintained. Working closely with Corporate Communications to ensure brand and tone of voice alignment, ensuring all of Emirates Holiday personnel and outputs, not limited to marketing, include Emirates branding best practice to ensure brand consistency. Continually ensure that all website content is maintained with up to date and correct offers with relevant marketing messages. Assist with ensuring all website and digital marketing content is aligned with Emirates Brand. Ensure all website content is SEO optimised. Assist with scheduling and delivery of all email marketing and other tactical digital marketing including display ads, social media and PPC. Daily reviews of the Artificial Intelligence customer chat website tool, Ami. Provide daily management report of performance and feedback enhancements that may be required. You will be focussed on piecing together amazing holiday experiences, selecting the right product by listening to our customer’s feedback and analysing our performance and then effectively marketing it through various channels. Job Accountabilities Working within the Product team, this role will support the growth and development of key destinations in the Emirates Holidays portfolio including Dubai and beyond. Listening carefully to customers’ requirements and the performance of our destinations, constantly making suggestions for improvements. Supporting the Product Executives with the management of relationships with hotel, air and ground suppliers including negotiating special offers, allocations and marketing agreements. Ensure that all product information (available to all staff) is maintained with up to date fact sheets and relevant information such a board basis etc. Ensure that all website offers are up to date and correct. Work with the contracting and loading teams to ensure offers are loaded correctly in line with business requirements. Escalate issues to management where required. Produce weekly competitor analysis reports and room night reports and identify market trends and opportunities for the business. Feedback to management. Monitor Emirates flight pricing fluctuations and availability and compare against competitor airlines, feeding updates back to management on a regular basis. Support the reservations department by becoming the key point of contact for product enquiries and providing clear sales briefs for marketing campaigns. Assist with loading queries, price matches and provide support to the Operations team. Respond to all reservations and operations queries raised on yammer Responsibility for managing the training schedule, organising FAM trips and coordinating sales incentives.
